Breeding Quality Paint Horses

From the beginning, SCS Ranch's focus has been on breeding and showing quality Paint horses. Quality rather than quantity has been and always will be our the goal of our Paint horse breeding program.

20 Years ago we had a dream of owning our own ranch. In 2002, that dream came true with the beginning of SCS Ranch when our incredible Paint Horse Stallion Maxs Impulsive Color was born.

SCS Ranch is proudly owned by Doug and PJ McGinn with our three daughters: Shelby, Cameron and Sydney.

We firmly believe in our young double registered APHA / PtHA stallion and in his future as the foundation of our Paint Horse breeding program. He has the qualities of a stallion that match up with our goals completely-- from conformation, to trainability, to his wonderful temperament. Our daughter Shelby McGinn will be showing Junior (Maxs nickname) in Amateur classes and all 3 of our daughters ride and handle him.

With limited showing Maxs Impulsive Color has earned his ROM in Western Pleasure thru both the American Paint Horse Association and the American Pinto Horse Association. Look for this stallion in the show ring in both Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle classes in 2008!

Get used to hearing the name Maxs Impulsive Color because you are going to be hearing it a lot in the years to come. Consider breeding your mare to our Paint Stallion in 2008!
